“Sounds of the ocean roared. The violent crashes of the waves grew louder, erupting the peacefulness of that day.
The moon children will find rest. In due time. But in the meantime, they remain in stasis. In a world that holds time still...”
sōl — Chapter III: Nova Vita
Zarbie x Christopher Darkari
Dandelion Parables from sōl
A woman drifts in the dark, half-submerged in a tub, smoke rising as a spotlight carves her out of the void. Her smile is sweet, her eyes are ruin. She treats love like a resource—used, emptied, discarded.
“Peace be with me,” she whispers, “so shall peace be with you… anchor your spirit to mine.”
But beneath the charm lies hunger. Manipulation dressed as affection. A god-complex clothed in beauty and decay.
Somewhere else, another woman bends forward in fear, speaking in frantic tongues—prayers colliding with panic. Her voice breaks through the veil:
“Flee from the darkness, dear boy. Repent before it’s too late. Yahweh, save him—he must not come here.”
Two worlds speaking at once: one seducing, one warning.
Both revealing the cost of wandering too close to the shadows.
