Made it to Tatler Asia’s Leaders of Tomorrow – a list that celebrates next-gen founders, creatives, and changemakers shaping the future of Asia. Grateful to be in the company of so many inspiring individuals.
Leadership is service.
We lead to serve, and in doing so, we become part of something far greater than ourselves.
As the year unfolds with new and exciting chapters, I look back on the past decade with deep gratitude. I remember the faces that challenged me, inspired me, and stood by me through every high and low.
Thank you, Tatler Gen.T, for this honour.

Our corporate choirs are truly blossoming across Singapore’s organisations, with singing sessions growing into meaningful communities that bring people together through music, purpose, and shared experiences.
Yesterday, Voices of NKF (National Kidney Foundation) presented several items at the Singapore Health Inspirational Patient and Caregiver Awards 2026, performing alongside patients, doctors, nurses, and the CEO of NKF, Yen Tan.
The performance was an incredibly moving reminder of the power of singing to break barriers, strengthen interdepartmental harmony, and create spaces where patients and staff can simply come together as one community.
At Voices of Singapore, we have always believed that singing has the ability to transform cultures and bring people closer together. Some of the most meaningful moments happen when people from completely different walks of life stand side by side and sing together.
Many more of our corporate choirs will be stepping out to perform this year… very exciting to see these communities continue to grow.
Congratulations to Voices of NKF, VOS conductor Lim Jing Xiuan, and collaborative pianist Jane Foo for this beautiful performance and for representing the spirit of inclusivity and community so wonderfully. 🇸🇬🎶
‘Through Life and Death’ 🕊️✨
Our first recital of the year was more than just a performance; it was a deeply personal exploration of the cycles and rhythms of life from the perspectives of our youth.
A special mention to some of our very own singers: our incredible soloists, musicians, and theatrical narrators whose storytelling brought an extra layer of depth to the stage!
We also want to give a shoutout to our associate conductor, Gerald Tan, and conducting scholar, Ke BangYan, for bringing this recital to life alongside our conductor Darius Lim. 🎶
To our audience: thank you for holding space for us and for embarking on this introspective journey by our side. We can’t wait to meet you on stage again very soon!
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

"A true visionary, wonderful musician, colleague and friend. Someone whom I've always looked up to, and grown alongside with for most of my career. Love how we also share many similar views and perspectives of life, one of which being to serve the community and contribute in whatever way we can, so that everyone can grow together! Happy to share the stage with him and play the piano, where it all started for both of us."

Today was a very special day at Voices of Singapore.
Three years ago, Clarence joined Starlight Voices under Tham Pei Wen, a programme for children and youth with special needs. Since then, he has become one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic members of our community. Whether it is a concert, workshop, rehearsal, or project, Clarence is almost always the first to put his hand up. He simply loves to sing.
Today, Clarence, now 21, and begins a new chapter. It is his first day as a staff member at Voices of Singapore!
As part of our Projects & Venues team, Clarence helps care for our spaces and ensures that our members, singers, and communities can enjoy a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment to create music together.
We’re all excited to welcome Clarence into the Voices of Singapore team.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. At Voices of Singapore, we believe the arts should not only inspire people, but open doors for people from all walks of life to discover confidence, purpose, community, and even careers through their passion.
Welcome to the team, Clarence ❤️
700 voices and one special evening 🌍✨
Here is a look back at what happened when the community gathered at Geneo to sing We Are the World at our first SingNation Session.
Our heartfelt gratitude to our venue partner, Geneo (@sgsciencepark@capitaland ) for making this possible!
If you were there and enjoyed learning the song with us, keep a lookout—tickets for our Voices of the World International Choir Festival are launching soon. Join us there to sing the anthem with the community once again! 💙

Once again I’ve witnessed how Hong Kong is building communities through music.
I had the honour of serving as an adjudicator and conductor for the Hong Kong Inter-school Choral Festival collaboration with the Plaza Premium
Group (PPG), where singers and soloists from around the world came together as part of the PPG’s Talent Competition.
A particularly meaningful moment was conducting the finale, bringing together the HKICF choir, the @ppgchoir , and soloists in a combined performance of my song, Our Story. This work, commissioned by SG Enable and performed at Singapore’s National Day Parade in 2024, took on a new life in Hong Kong. It was a surreal and deeply proud moment.
I was also very touched to have the support of the Singapore High Commission in Hong Kong at the event. Seeing Singapore represented and supported on an international stage meant a great deal.
What stood out most was the strength of collaboration between corporates and the choral community. This is a powerful model for how the arts can grow sustainably, with shared purpose and vision.
At Voices of Singapore, this is something we believe strongly in. It is inspiring to see our partners at the Hong Kong Interschool Choral Festival leading the way, and we look forward to building even stronger bridges together.
Congratulations to our partners at @hkicf , especially founder my dear friend @kelvin.h.lau , and to my friends, the Song family of Plaza Premium Group (Thank you Linda), for an outstanding initiative that continues to bring people together through music. Thank you for the invitation! Looking forward to our exciting new partnerships together ❤️✨🫶

Hello Hong Kong 🇭🇰. Can’t wait to conduct my music in the iconic Hong Kong City Hall and work with some wonderful singers! First thing I saw at the airport was this a cat that resembles my Simba. Sooo cute … but probably a thousand times bigger. 😳😂🐈
When the stars align ✨
A wonderful lunch with Bob Chilcott @bob.chilcott , friends and publishers from Oxford University Press, and Tanglin Trust School (thanks @robhall74 !).
Great conversations with friends and colleagues. So glad our VOS board member, Will Oswald could join us too. See you soon, Bob, Rob and Isabelle!
Got a shock when Singaporean artist Rex Lee personally delivered a specially commissioned art work to me, a gift from a dear friend ❤️
His iconic, whimsical illustrations of Space Cats Mau and Kitty have become such a signature in his work. Not to mention his inclusion of my 3 cats Ralfie, Midnight and Simba!
From collaborations with Uniqlo to designs featured by ActionCity on their 30 Bearbricks, Rex’s art has really reached far and wide.
Such an incredible Singapore talent. What an honour. Thank you @my_spacecats 🙏
P.S I’m inspired to write a song about cats! 🐱
