🍱 Eating – Food is everywhere, from ramen shops to konbinis (7-Eleven, Lawson, Family Mart). Prices vary by city, but I found Kyoto to be the cheapest when it came to both shopping and eating. Perfect spot to ball on a budget.
🛍️ Shopping – Japan’s shopping scene can be overwhelming (in the best way). From souvenirs to fashion, there’s something for everyone. Again, Kyoto wins for deals, while Tokyo and Osaka bring variety and big-city vibes.
🚆 Transportation – The trains can be confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it’s easy. They’re on time, come every 5–7 minutes, and stations are literally everywhere. Once you learn the system, moving between Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto is smooth and efficient.
Master these 3 things, and you’ll move through Japan like a pro 🙌🏾
