Jhoany Juarez graduates this week with a B.S. in agricultural business. Motivated to give back to his community, he chose this major to gain a thorough understanding of production agriculture and has mentored many of his peers. In 2025, Jhoany received the @denbizjournal Rising Star award in the Leaders in Agriculture program, a partnership with the Colorado Farm Bureau. What’s next for him? He’s joining @dairytechllc as an inside sales representative and hopes to eventually move into account management. Nizhoni Begay graduates this week with a B.S. in agricultural education. What drew her to the major was her traditional Diné (Navajo) upbringing, where giving back is part of the way of life. She saw agricultural education as the perfect way to do just that for the community and land that shaped her. During her time at CSU, Nizhoni refined her leadership style to be culturally responsive and reflective, focusing on inclusive environments and relationship-building. “Nizhoni is a teacher and a great leader with a deep sense of responsibility to uplift their community through dedicated service and educational excellence,” says Aubriel Zachman, her advisor. What’s next for Nizhoni? She’s pursuing her master's with a focus on extension education. Congratulations to Nizhoni and to all our graduating AgRams - we can’t wait to see all of the places you’ll go! In her intro, Nizhoni said: “Shí éí Nizhoni Rose Begay yinishyé. Kambria Wilkin graduates this week with a B.S. in agricultural education and a B.A. in political science 🎓 She received the 2026 Charles N. Shepardson Student Leadership Award for her leadership in organizations like @ascsu , @csu_agcouncil , and Collegiate Farm Bureau. Her commitment to outreach has increased engagement and informed decision-making across campus. She has built lasting systems that empower others, ensuring agriculture remains visible, represented, and impactful. What’s next for Kam? She’s starting law school and hopes to someday work with farmers in water law. You're lucky to have someone like Kam at your table, @coloradolaw !
