Darch (he/him) is a visualist and live coder exploring the chaos emerging from simplicity, glitches and the happy mistakes by creating visuals generated by algorithms. His styles has a DIY-vibe to it with a mix of organic footage, 90's screen savers aesthetic, and a hint of data moshing.
When performing live the code is written and edited on-the-fly, and projected alongside the visuals for the audience to also enjoy the art of coding and to demystify algorithms as something that is out of our control.

Timeline - create you own social website
So are you also tired of having to use big tech's social medias to stay connected with friends and interesting people, and having your privacy pried upon?
And are you a creative human, who want back control over you art, music, words, code, instead of having to shoehorn your soul into the grid of blackbox algorithms ?
Then it is you, who I've made timeline for.
My visions for timeline is to bring back the fun and quirkiness of bygone sites such as Geocities of the 1990s and Myspace of the 2000s, that enables creating a personalized place for you to express yourself online and also being able to follow others who inspire you.
For the social features timeline are using the twtxt format and most of the twtxt Extensions developed in the context of Yarn.social.
timeline also support its own flavor of WebMentions, so it is possible to be notified about @mentions from feeds you are not currently/yet following. You can also search for others feeds using WebFinger, if they got that set up on their server , like it's the case for most yarn.social pods.
At the same time providing a good looking basic design with the help of Simple.css, which allows you to customize the look and feel. Even to the level where timeline aligns with the design of your excising webpage, like I did on: https://darch.dk/timeline

Søren Peter Mørch is a visualist and creative coder exploring the chaos emerging from simplicity, glitches and the happy mistakes by using algorithms for generating his visuals.
When performing live the code is written and edited on-the-fly, and projected alongside the visuals for the audience to also enjoy the art of coding and to demystify algorithms as something that is out of our control.
In early 2020 he co-funded Live Coders Collective Copenhagen. Ever since he have been teaching himself and others how to make visuals with code by hosting workshops and algoraves.
I started an alternative to the big centralized social media platform.
You can join at Neotxt.dk (https://neotxt.dk) or one of the other pods listed on #YarnSocial (https://yarn.social)
Yarn.social builds on top of #twtxt (https://twtxt.readthedocs.io), which is a minimalist DIY way of creating our own social networks using simple text files.
You can also host your twtxt.txt (/sorenpeter/pixelblog/) for a more instragram'ish look and feel.
Twtxt and Yarn.social might not do as much as you are use to from the big social media platforms. The only thing you can do it to make posts to your twtxt.txt file, which others can then follow and comment on. Comments are just like any other posts, except that the start with a unique code, that point back to the original post.
So to see posts and comments from others, you need to actively choose to follow them. There are no notification!
Instead you will discover new profiles by seeing who others are following and talking to, or by talking to people in the real word.
