We were in full Release Radar mode, digging into a strong stretch of early 2026 Canadian indie. New tracks from The Sheepdogs, Wintersleep, Daniel Romano, Broken Social Scene, and Boy Golden sat alongside more experimental turns from Colin Stetson, Daphni, and Holy Fuck. There was also a powerful live recording of Gord Downie with The Sadies, plus a collaboration between Dallas Good and Richard Reed Parry that carried real weight.
You may have noticed the episode leaned heavily toward male voices — that was intentional. Next week we’ll mark International Women’s Day with a full two hours dedicated to female voices, many of them brand-new releases.
