I know what I can give, I know I can get there.
More than a year ago, I made an Oath to only, ONLY focus on academics.
That I'd only invest things that revolves and support my Master Degree quest.
That it's okay to dissapear for a while.
That it's okay to be fully immersed.
That it's okay to make sacrifices.
To keep pushing through.
To grind in silence.
To never yield.
I swore to myself, that the first photo I'm going to post after all the struggles is the graduation picture.

Who says swords are just for boys?
Try swinging a 1.5 kg steel sword properly while wearing a kebaya (Indonesian traditional dress), 8 cm heels, and full makeup—under the 1 PM Surabaya sun (around 33–36°C).
I believe studying the blade doesn’t make a girl “manlier” or more “masculine.”
You can be strong, yet beautiful at the same time.
You can be firm, yet gentle.
You can be fierce, yet still full of love.
Empowerment looks different for everyone.
For me—and for some of us—it’s found in studying the blade.
So, girls—take up your sword.

In certain schools of Chinese Jianfa, hips movement is very crucial in executions of a certain technique. To be able to use hips and connect it to the whole chain of movements is not an easy feat. Here's an example of our last sharing session with a seasoned HEMA practitioner. Although it seems she was having difficulties, don't underestimate her small stature, she is a smart fighter in HEMA Longsword, saber, and even in Olympic Modern Fencing. Its just that swordsmanship from The East have different approach on body mechanics, especially The Internal One.
