My mom is many things to me. She's my mother, my best friend, my advisor, my sounding board and my biggest supporter . She is everything I have ever needed wrapped up in one person.
I have always looked up to my mom. Since I was little, I have seen her as fearless. She can stand up to anyone or anything. Anytime I want to do something brave, I imagine I am my mother and I can face anything the way she can.
My mom is my biggest supporter. She supports everything I do even when she doesn't understand it. She'll go "hmmm, as long as you're happy". Her support means a lot to me and I know she always has my back.
I don't have enough space to write all what she means to me. Iya Shindara, Aunty Funke, Funky Saly - all names I fondly call her. You mean the world to me and words cannot quantify how much I love you. Happy 60th birthday!

I finally became comfortable with being an adult and came into my own in 2023.
