Diwali Campaign for @raffleshotelsingapore
This has been my favourite box design so far! Love the beautiful peacock feather accents and the colours are just so on point! Thou it did make it a pain in the ass to light. Always fun exploring that with @riggingshitup on set. The premium box comes a lil larger and has a really nice diya that comes along with it!
And as usual, Chef Kuldeepâs sweets never fails to impress and the best of all.. they are all edible (as opposed to fake ones being made⌠and we can eat to our heartâs content after the shoot! (We actually started snacking on them during the shootâŚ.. but dun tell him that!!)

Custom duo-toned props, layered hues, and crisp lighting gave each frame a vibrant pop, echoing the playful spirit of the brand.

This yearâs mooncake shoot for @raffleshotelsingapore came with a twist đâ¨and a first for us!
We collaborated with the incredible gardening team at Raffles Hotel Singapore, to gather leaves that were already trimmed, fallen, supplemented with freshly (secretly) harvested and abt 20% store bought â creating a set that felt truly connected to their garden and box design, and a little more sustainable too đż
To preserve those perfect shades, we slowly dehydrated the foliage back at the guest room over a few weeks (much to my wifeâs dismay â âWhenâs the shoot happening?! I canât take these leaves anymore!â đ).
Big thanks to @artifactt_@lijun_annie for the beautiful plateware that completed the scenes, and to the RHS team lead for this campaign @nadineeho for trusting us enough to let us run wild with this idea â quite literally.

This series was shot in celebration of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix weekend â a visual ode to speed, precision, and indulgence. Each dish and cocktail across Marina Bay Sandsâ restaurants was imagined as a machine of its own: engineered for pleasure, built with detail, and designed to perform.
The deep crimson palette mirrors the heat of the track; reflections hint at velocity and obsession. Light streaks were painted in-camera, echoing the blur of a car slicing through the night circuit. Every frame was about balance â motion and stillness, chaos and control, flavour and form.

So before the lights go out, fuel up.

Our 1st mooncake campaign for @marinabaysands !!
And it was a flavour profile we havenât had before! A Double Yolk Lotus paste, infused with a citrusy flavour of the Torch Ginger. The chef must really like his Rojak! Haha!!
Working with a pool of water presents different kinda problem, from lighting, to âfloatersâ, weird reflections, props getting soaked⌠that we normally wouldnât face otherwise.
But we only wanna get it(the shot) in camera and not any otherwise, nothing against AI, it just wouldnât be as fun!Thankfully, the crew are all rockstars and got it done while enjoying a lovely bento set from @sabarmenantisg !

Throwback to our first collab with Krug back in 2013âshooting Chef Julien Royer at Jaan (now Jaan by Kirk Westaway) for their Single Ingredient series. The brief was quirky: crabs, Krug, and a whole lot of fun. Chef was all in (he even tried to pierce his nose with a crab claw đ), but the hotel team⌠not so much. Denice and Merissa did their best to steer us back to ârefined luxury,â but we stuck to our visionâwith my photo assistant, the late Steven Foo cheering us on.
The result? A wild, playful set of images that somehow won over the Swissotel teamâand led to them engaging us for work after.
Moral of the story: stick to your guns. If you fail, at least itâs your failure to own. đĽ
Ps: We still dinât know what they saw in us, but weâre glad and thankful they did! Amen!
