Vibing with the extended fam, hanging out with all the extended cousins, aunts, uncles - it was full of so much love + laughs ✨️
I can't remember the venue but when I do - I will tag, but omg their room was in a PYRAMID - legit. Full statues, high ceiling and calligraphics all over the walls. I died and went mental at how cool, random + quirky it was 🤤
I love how my world opens up from going to weddings, I get to see the most amazing places and experience them with full gusto! ❤️
Note to self: surround yourself with women who are actually doing the damn thing 💅🏽

My weekend was spent shooting the amazing friends of mine Mr + Mrs Doyle 🥹
Nadine gave me a quick brief, she wanted full candid, classy editorial vibes + that her man Scotty didn’t want to do full on portraits as the main vibe was to party and be with their friends and fam🦋
Let’s just saaayyyy portraits lasted half hour and we stayed on that D floor till nearly midnight (wait till you see the epic fun shit I got to document) 😂
I ate my weight in Sri Lankan food, danced till my legs hurt and yelled GET IT GIRL about 10000x times - my type of wedding 🤤
I bawled my eyes when I saw my girl getting out of her car and one of the aunties came up to me later and said “girl what’s going on here?” - and then proceeds to try clean up my fucked up mascara . That’s what you call the most loved up bubble of humans who look after each other 🥹

This shoot was just vibessssss baby! Imagine me riding around on my scooter, one hand swigging a insanely strong Smirnoff bottle, earpods in blasting music, and the wind in my hair thinking I’m the coolest girl out there 🦋
Creativity just hitting, and there’s me running in between little tricycles other scooters, random drones and cars to get the shot - sometimes even just doing it for 30 seconds and then running back 😂 commitment is me always 💪🏾
This spot is an iconic area for Siargao 🇵🇭 and there’s always people stopping for photos so ofcourse we wanted to go 🥹
This set feels nostalgic (I went for more grain and a blown out look with flash), it’s fun and is giving fuck it I’m on holiday and i want to look and feel cute as hell baby 🫶🏽

We stopped by the Banaue Rice Terraces which is a 2000 year old (!!) UNESCO world heritage site and we had the privilege of photographing the Igorot people (“mountain people”) who are a part of the Ifugao tribe who carved these terraces by hand into the Cordillera mountains 🌾
They also worship rice gods called “Bulul”!

I’m trying to write this over and over and hopefully it might scrape even the surface of what I’m feeling 😅
The sunset here was just all consuming (in fact everything here in the Philippines here is in one way or the other) + this golden glow just seeped into your body from the toes up. Like you were glowing too, everything and everywhere the light touched it had this golden red hue that just lit everyone up 🥹
My girl Zo smashed this out shooting in front of everyone like a rockstar and I didn’t even think twice as I was in such flow state that we were in front of everyone - I just thought it was her, the sunset and myself. No one else 🫶🏽
It feels nostalgic to be shooting again like this , more adventure, more stories that can be shared through from documenting your passions - it feels like how I did when I first started creating nearly a decade ago 🌊
Sometimes you gotta come full circle and come to yourself … and for me that’s literally here in my mother land 🇵🇭
