I can’t help but imagine the woman you would have become… your husband, your children, the joy and wisdom you would have carried so effortlessly. Thinking of all you could have been and all you would have achieved makes my heart bleed and my eyes fill with tears. I miss you deeply, my dear sister. I miss your advice, your jokes, your sternness, your cooking. I miss wearing your clothes and using your things—sometimes without your permission. I even miss our fights, and the fights you fought fiercely for me. Koko, you were my pillar. My safe place. The big sister I ran to when life felt confusing or heavy. I still hear your voice encouraging me: “Mmakamba, you can do this. Mmakamba, people are watching. Mmakamba, kpeme idem fo.” Your words still guide me today. Adiaha Eka mi, you left us too soon and left me standing in shoes I never thought I would have to fill. Yet every step I take reminds me of your strength, your love, and the legacy you left behind.
