May 1994: Danzig released the iconic music video for "Mother '93."
The video features footage from the band's 1992 Halloween show at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in California, and it helped turn "Mother" into a hit nearly six years after its original release.
"At that time, Irvine Meadows was relegated to bands like Bon Jovi and Whitesnake and big pop bands," Danzig told @revolvermag of playing the venue. "For a band like Danzig, an underground metal band, it was unheard of going in and headlining the show. But we sold it out."
