Dacoit wouldn’t have been the way it is visually without the people in these images as well. They invariably formed a crucial system in the whole process. They worked day and night. Did not complain and kept showing up every single day.
@vickianand__vision - The second camera operator. He single-handedly made it less stressful for me. Never ever gave “No” for an answer and was down to do whatever it took to execute what we wanted. Bulldozed throufh every single lighting intensive shoots. He is good enough to shoot his own feature.
@achuthgopi - Our gimbal operator. His golden arm is pretty much tireless. Had a fantastic sync with him while using the mimic as well. He didn’t just sit simply when the Gimbal wasn’t in use because he was equally involved mentally and physically even otherwise. Turned up every single time a complicated shot had to be done and even did a kickass stunt to get a kickass shot.
@dutta_dp21 - Absolutely professional and honest at work. Calm, composed and kept checking on if anything was needed constantly. Good eye for composition.
@ig_shashanksinghh - Fantastic cameo for the toughest of schedules. Kept calculating the pace of shoot and was on spot in following whatever was needed. Absolute workhorse and zero slacking.
@rahulbandi99 - The only one who was there from the pre-production and for most days during production as well. Super hardworking and always eager to learn.
@giridher__varma120 - The lighting gaffer. He was new and pretty much understood what I needed slowly and by the second half of the film he would keep things going on smoothly. Always a very good support to have around.
@murali.0610 ,
@mmmbabu009 and the other focus pullers- They had the most challenging job of all. Fantastic is an understatement. Anytime they weren’t available we always had issues and that itself showed how important they were.

Thanks to Bharat and Upendra too who joined us for specific schedules and tirelessly worked hard on the logistics in terms of lighting!
