My (Dan) amazing Dad turns 70 years old today! As a gift, we spent a lot of time looking back through his 70 years on this earth to put together a “this is your life” style newspaper for him. What started as an 8 page project soon developed into 20 pages 😅
For me personally, it was great to give these early photos back to Dad after they had been upscaled and recoloured. Not only had I not seen some of these photos before, but the ones I had seen had come to live once more. We also used photoshop to reframe every single photo for this project (over 200!) and asked his friends and family to write birthday messages for him, like their favourite memories and what they love about him.
What a man, and what a loved man! The best Dad I could have asked for 🧡

It’s that time again! After another amazing wedding show, we felt it was time to reintroduce ourselves to our new followers and all the lovely folks we met at The East Anglia Wedding Show ✨
We are Dan & Abi of Danton Abi Wedding Newspapers. We met almost 3 years ago on Bumble and knew we were going to be married after one date 🧡
A year later we were engaged and last July we got married at @dragonhallweddings (highly recommend!). In our time together we’ve travelled around the UK from Brighton to Edinburgh, to see Dan’s friends in Sweden, to a wedding in India, and next week we will be in New York for our honeymoon! 🗽
We bonded over a shared love of music and that love of creativity lead us to create this very business, as Dan is a graphic designer and Abi is a writer. Together we made our own wedding invitation newspaper and it snowballed from there!
Thank you for all the love, the support and simply the interest in us and our business, we are excited to work with more couples through 2026 and to help you all spread your news! 🧡
