So this happened. Closed my eyes and bong bong, 15 years later. No hangovers, no regrets. no overnights in jail, no more waking up with the wrong one, no DUI’s, no more brawls, no more apologizing to my friends or partners, no more all nighters making “big plans” with people that are a charade and parade of nonsense. I will never get FOMO for a hangover. Been a wild ride, couldn’t have done it without my fellow travellers. it’s a WE thing indeed. They say let go, let God, and for me that’s enough. It wasn’t easy in the beginning, and it still ebbs and flows like a MFer, but it got excellent, weird, fun, funny, bizarre, spiritual and ultimately totally worth it. Thank God I never lost my sick sense of humor through it all, that’s my cheat code! Thanks to everyone I met along the way. Had a little reunion dinner with this legendary crew last night. We got together to link up with our guy Albee, reminisce, catch up and enjoy a great meal.
There’s so much history, too much for an IG caption, I have so much love and gratitude for these guys. Albee is one of the 2 people to tell me to come to NYC and work in the music industry, I probably wouldn’t have had this career had I not sold him weed at the Gavin Seminar. I was fortunate enough to meet and become friends with everyone else when I moved to NYC. Because they were already established, I mean they are way older than me 🤣, and I already knew their work so I’ve always looked up to them.
When I think of my love for Hip Hop, how I got into the biz and the contributions this crew has made, I am in awe I get to call them friends (I mean I’m assuming we’re friends, I might be reaching 🤣).
Seriously though, it was an honor to bring everyone together to break bread. These moments are so fulfilling and necessary, let’s normalize these gatherings and continue to celebrate life and each other.

NYC day 3. Did a whole lot of walking and squalking, most I walk in LA is down my drive way to my ride, my feet are COOKED! Lots of snaps, NYC smells like on big bag of weed these days. Saw a bunch rapping music yesterday, woke up smelling like a bag of weed… and I’m sober 🤣🤣🤣 Hung out with the Bornday boy @lordsko and shook about 1300 hand over 3 days. I wanna jump in a pool of hand sanitizer tbh 😳. Saw some great art go see the Martin Wong show and Chris Daze Ellis shows @ppow both are fantastic. In other news I have never seen so many Averix jackets and annoying transplants on one island before. Staying in Nolita where a IG photo shoot seems to taken place every 2.7 minutes FML. Weird disconnected mix (the transplants are not rocking Avi’s tbc). I’m off to watch some Knicks and eat some Boricua food, I’ll check back in, in the next few days but for now seckle👊🏼
