Just me and a camera, capturing people, places and things I saw. S/o to @hbcuspringcoming and their event! Just a vibe! #shadesmahogany #acepro2 #hbcuspringcoming
Stepped out to vibe to Night Shift All Vinyl Session to test out my acepro2. Great vibe for us old school adults. Music is top tier! #shadesmahogany #acepro2
If you could do whatever and not worry about money, what would you do? This. All of this. Having conversations with everyone, capturing their story and just taking 1/250 of a second and sharing it with the world. #mhtmphotography #cc #sonyalpha7rv
WEIGHT: Chronicling the Unbroken
Some stories are carried. Some stories carry us.
WEIGHT: Chronicling the Unbroken is a generative exhibition exploring truth, resistance, power, justice, unity, freedom, and hope. It is an experience rooted in reflection and forward motion—examining the burdens borne, the battles fought, and the resilience that continues to define communities across generations.
Opening Spring 2026 at the Civil Rights Institute in the newly refurbished Havana Northside, this exhibition invites visitors to confront history with honesty and stand in the presence of strength that refuses to bend. Through layered narratives and powerful visual storytelling, WEIGHT honors those who endured and those who continue to build toward a more just future.
This is more than an exhibition. It is remembrance. It is reckoning. It is resolve.

D.C from the 35mm:
Washington, D.C., after Thanksgiving—slowed down and observed through the grain of 35mm. A journey through the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the MLK Memorial, and the neighborhoods near Howard University that carry culture, rhythm, and everyday truth.
These are the spaces where history is documented and where it’s still being written.
Set to Terrace Martin’s 24th & Lake, this short reflects on legacy, movement, and the quiet moments in between.

“Sometimes we capture moments… not just to remember where we’ve been, but to reveal who we are. Just like Gordon Parks, we use the lens to turn truth into art.“ Here are some moments with my Sony FX2 and 35mm in Washington D.C.
