Sadness, but also joy as we mourn the loss of an incomparable hero. The legacy of John Lewis will continue for generations to come because of a life well-lived; one in constant pursuit of equality and justice. I will never forget his poignant and powerful words at last year’s @belovedbenefit . As we honor his legacy today, may we be moved to action. May we find ourselves getting into "good trouble." And may we remember that we all have a role to play in building a more just, equitable, and hope-filled world.

I was thrilled to celebrate the expansion of the Jeannette Cathy Children’s Center with our partner @brighthorizons this week at our Support Center. Mom was a constant inspiration to me with her ever curious mind and infectious spirit. It’s a joy to see her passion for learning affecting the lives of our staff and their children.
