Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League hosted its Happy Tails spring fundraiser at The Park West Palm Beach in West Palm Beach. Howard Stern’s Hamptons legal battle with his former assistant is escalating. The Southampton resident has moved to dismiss a $2.5 million lawsuit filed by Leslie Kuhn, who is also seeking a judge to void her nondisclosure agreements. On April 29, Stern’s attorneys filed court documents (reviewed by “South O’ The Highway”) asking a judge to dismiss the case. In the filing, Stern alleges Kuhn’s lawsuit is an attempt to secure a “hush-money payment,” calling it a “shakedown.” Stern’s attorneys also supplied email exhibits that allegedly show Kuhn knowingly signed the agreements she is now challenging. Sylvia Wong, owner and founder of The Roundtree Amagansett, is branching out with a new standalone restaurant in Bridgehampton. Dubbed Nourish, the new spot is slated for a mid-May opening. Locals will recognize the somewhat star-crossed space at 203 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike as the former home of the Wild Rose Cafe, Fresh Hamptons, and most recently, Arthur & Sons, which closed after a two-year run on the East End. While he’s saying goodbye to Bridgehampton for now, Michelin star-chef Joe Isidori still has two Manhattan eateries operating under the Arthur & Sons name in the West Village and Murray Hill, respectively, as well as an outpost in Jupiter, FL. Citarella @citarellagourmetmarket opened their latest Hamptons gourmet market in Westhampton Beach this Thursday, April 30. The family-run food retailer said the new location at 141 Montauk Highway is its fourth in the Hamptons and eighth overall, joining existing markets in East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Southampton. The store is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Westhampton Beach market offers a range of products central to Citarella’s business, including fresh seafood and prime, dry-aged beef. The company said its seafood is never frozen and cut to order, with offerings such as Montauk tilefish and branzino imported from Tuscany.
