I’ve been trying to find the right words, but nothing really feels enough.
Today is one of the hardest days of my life because I couldn’t be there for your funeral. Being on my Europe tour meant I had responsibilities I couldn’t step away from, but that doesn’t make this pain any easier. My heart is heavy knowing I’m so far away while you are being laid to rest.
It breaks me that I can’t be there in person to say goodbye properly, to stand with family, to pay my last respects the way I truly want to. I keep replaying everything in my mind, wishing things were different, wishing I could just leave everything and come home to you one last time.
But deep down, I know you would understand. I know you would be proud of me, and I know you would never want me to give up everything I’ve worked so hard for. That thought is the only thing that gives me a little peace in all of this.
I carry you with me everywhere I go. Every workshop I teach, every class I step into, every journey I take across Europe you are with me in spirit. I feel you in my strength, in my voice, in my purpose.
Thank you for everything you gave me in this life. Your love, your lessons, your presence… they will never leave me. I promise to keep making you proud, even from afar.
I love you endlessly, Dad.
