PCT Photo Dump NorCal # 2
We finally did it. Walked a whole lot of miles (1300 miles or something like that) NorCal saw the slow pokes getting into our groove even if we were running from fires. We walked, talked, and camped. So painfully simple, and i miss it so much.

Pct Photo Dump Sierras
Pic 1-2: Preparing ourselves for the most physically demanding part of the trail. The Sierras. I was lucky enough to have ben, phil, and kellsie come all the way from LA to hang out and give us a great send off.
Pic 3-4: The shrubby rolling hills marked with barren granite peaks welcoming us to the next month of our trip. We quickly gained elevation as we made our way towards Mt. Whitney.
Pic 5: Its a video…. Of us moving at the crack of dawn to summit My. Whitney before the sunrise.
Pic 6: We made it to the summit of Mt. Whitney with much time to spare. Now all we had to do was stay warm and enjoy the view.
Pic 7-9: Enjoying the views from the highest peak in the lower 48.
Pic 10-13: Right after Mt. Whitney, we faced our second challenge of the Sierras, Forrester Pass. The highest pass on the PCT. @elly.rdschr thanks for the cool photos.

Pct Photo Dump Desert Section cont. Hikertown to KMS
Pic 1. The gang missed the boat so lil p, choo choo and I ready ourselves for our first night hike over the LA aqua-duct
Pic 2. The end of the desert summed up in a few pictures: Endless wind farms, seeking out any shade, and excited for a hitch into town.
Pic 3. The #1 tourist destination for socal, Tehachapi! We laughed, we bowled (i lost), played pool (i lost as well), and enjoyed my first big family meal.
Pic 4. Sometimes the trail does provide. The awesome trail angles of the PCT are what kept us going by making an oasis in the desert. Plus our first trail magic.

Pic 6. Our little group decided to put on a little fashion show for our last stretch of the desert.

Pic 1: Surprise! I decided to hike the PCT this year. It’s going to be 5 months of living in the woods and becoming the epitome of hiker trash.

After way too many set backs I can finally say it, I’m done chemo and am officially cancer free! You can’t see it but I promise I’m smiling from ear to ear under my mask.

With a day to prep and only the gear we owned, we managed to put this beauty together. It was a good exercise in creative problem solving and reminded me why I love making music videos. Plus I can't really complain when a day at work is hanging with friends shooting a video in DC.
The second video is a goofy BTS clip I took, showing how we got everyone into position without being seen by the camera.
