LINK IN BIO 👁️ THE CONTINUUM 👁️ Continuum: a coherent whole characterised as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees. Some thoughts about dancefloor connections and and the dancefloor space. What happens there is sacred, and it happens in place where we show a part of us that is authentic. There is nothing trivial about the simple act of dancing. Those of us that choose to move our bodies to the music, engage in an act of expression that is deeply personal. And I invite you to think for a moment on how special it is to share the dance with somebody. To look at someone you just met, and simply, move your bodies to the rhythm. That ritual sometimes brings connections that transcend that moment, and friendships that, despite the short time spent together feel strong. But some times, that connection feels even deeper, like you met, as they say “brothers/sisters from another mother”. I told you how I feel about @danpeplow and @jakejrogers Since we crossed paths with Dan and Jake, the adventures have always been magical. No wonder why! True music lovers, they emanate an incredible energy that they share with those around them. Always surrounded by their lovely friends, these two legends are caring, always bringing positive vibes. They are also active participants in music: the project @abovebelowfestival is the perfect example of this. Oh, and their music taste is immaculate. 🤌🏼🤌🏼 What we have the honor to share with you today is the recording from the @pintai_ event in London last November. Best friends since age 11, this was actually the first time Dan and Jake played out together, despite countless moments at home where the audience was just the two of them and sharing music with each other almost everyday. It was the opening set of the night, and they wanted to treat that slot with respect, laying the foundations, building things patiently, and platforming @hame.compathy in a specific way.  I’ve got some sounds + styles I’m digging at the moment that I’ve not played out before, feels like a fun time to give them a spin. Rumour has it, there is a bar with drinks and such, so come down if you’re about.

Label Spotlight: 5 Years of Predawn Records ✨ Yeeeeyyyyy, this has been a long time coming. An interview I did with @nils_edte and @predawn_records for @_____delayed is out now. We delved into the label’s fifth year, their origins, missions within the scene, the first double LP from Nils, Cogitat (out April 25th), and the debut Predawn festival rocking n rolling this May. Nils is a friend I was blessed to meet when we booked him and @laimaadelaide to play at @abovebelowfestival in 2024. Our friendship blossomed and reached new heights at @mostrabcn and @mnmt.no , followed by a trip to see him in Stuttgart in December for some rambles, Spätzle, Glühwein, and, Techno. What a year. We spend so much time digging and consuming music and discovering labels, artists, and collectives. You feel like you know them, and of course you do to an extent. We are so connected nowadays and get glimpses of character and energy, but there’s naturally a gap. It is a gap only bridged by sharing a dancefloor or a room where you resonate in new forms. It’s there you strengthen bonds, laugh hysterically, and unravel quirks, drives, and backstories. For me, people like Nils and platforms like Delayed provide an anchor, love, and a sense of purpose amongst the overload of information, confusion, and often, instability. Locking eyes with people I love on the dance floor is an unmatchable feeling. There are these moments when everything feels perfect. A single moment in time matters so much. It is a reference to the light that arrives externally and warms you from within. This May, I’m heading to Berlin to play on @thfradio with @kat_davids for her Spinnin’ Grounds show with @bastienne_f . After that, I’m making my way south to Stuttgart for the festival. ❍‿❍ recorded at Barn, Catskill Mountains, October 2025 Some words by Daniel. It was an absolute honour to open the Saturday proceedings at the @_____delayed barn getaway in October, alongside some of my favourite artists in Aspetuck, Bas Dobbelaer, Vinsen and Gilles Wasserman. The set took us from light into dark, bridging the transition in between, encouraging a soft sway, before slowly lifting the tempo. This set was recorded on a dance floor that has become one of my favourites out there. A barn, a rug, a ridiculous amount of smoke, and 18 incredible people.  I’m sure Kim can vouch for the magic of this dance floor, having played there the year before. I’ve always felt connected to Kim musically, so sharing music on epicycle just made it all click into place. We regularly chat about life and send each other tracks, and I feel very lucky to have this friendship through music. Hoping one day we will get to perform together somewhere. I met Daniel at the Above Below Festival, set in the beautiful landscape of the Chiltern Hills. He played a wonderfully dubby set, and his style and selection caught my attention immediately. As both an organizer of the festival and a writer for the Brooklyn-based platform Delayed, his passion for music and careful selection is unmistakable. No one can describe his set better than he can himself — so I’d like to share his own words with you.
 "This set was recorded in a remote barn in upstate New York, nestled amongst the Catskill hills. It was part of a music-centered and cosy getaway with the Delayed family and friends, held to embrace the change of season, and connect people across continents.
 This one hour of selections became a special journey where time seemed to stop for me. Friends melting into the sofas around me. The set moves from delicate soundscapes, glitchy notes, warm chords, and keys to dusty vocals, galactic talk, and a groovy melody, but ultimately maintains softness and a sense of calm.
 The preparation was fairly non-existent: I just dropped 125 tracks onto a playlist. It was a mix of old, new, and many I'd forgotten I even owned or what they sounded like. A path with multiple bends and nooks emerged, guided by a sense of nostalgia, mellow lighting, and a few spontaneous choices.
 One track really stood out: "Farewell #7." I had forgotten when I bought it, but the vocals—"I miss you partner," followed by the response, "I miss you too"—made the emotion take over. I felt vulnerable, and a couple of tears graced my left cheek, as it was four years that week since I lost one of my dearest friends, Goose. He was right there with me in that moment, and it felt profound.

Flow from Thursday to Sunday. The transformation of two spaces. The crowd you attract. The production. The love you pour in. Your love for Barcelona, and its community. It’s all apparent, and the attention to detail. Celebrating music, people and culture. You scooped us up, took us on a ride and transported us into a reality where there’s nothing but inspiration all around, and we’re all the better for it. Insane amounts of love to my family at Delayed. The Mostra team behind the magic. All the people I met. All the people I danced with again. All the artists. You’ve all found yourselves a settled place within my memory, hanging together, and can’t wait to connect and reconnect with more people over the summer and beyond. Festivals and clubs serve as playgrounds, and as Griff (@aspetuckmusic ) describes it, @_____delayed is a digital playground for your ears and mind. It’s a space to explore, connect, and discover more about yourself through music and the incredible art released daily. Since September, I’ve been working as a contributing writer for Delayed, a New York-based platform that promotes music across various realms of electronic music. This period of my life has been one of reflection on what to do next, providing me a fresh sense of creativity and purpose that I didn’t realise I needed. For years, Delayed has been my digital playground, and there’s nothing I love more than shouting out and promoting artists and their music. As we approach the end of the year, all of the editors at Delayed, including myself, have chosen our favourite track, remix, EP, album, mix, and set of 2024, and we each shared a few words.
