Modern Tropical
This backyard was tight and cozy but we were able to fit in a firepit, zero edge pool, spa and a deck area.

Wall paneling or wainscoting is a multi step process. Here are the steps to a Great Wall paneling job.
.
1. Layout and prep all the lines and the design of the panels on the wall. In this project we follow the curved lines of the staircase.
.
2. Set plywood and trims on the wall, then set the moulding within the frames. If you are wondering how the moulding curves to the contour of the wall, it’s actually a rubber or polyurethane moulding. Once it’s painted it looks the same.
.
3.Caulk and fill in the nail holes and gaps. Then prime the panels for paint.
.
4. Examine the primer and finishes for major flaws. Relax 🧘🏻♂️, flaws are normal at this stage. Fix and prepare for paint.
.
5. Spray 1st coat of paint
.
6. Go back and examine with blue tape on any finishing flaws. Discover some flaws that are not visible until 1 coat of paint. Repair, sand and touch up.
.
7. Chug a bottle of hard liquor of choice (tequila, rum, bourbon, vodka 🤷🏻♂️)
.
8. Spray finish coat of paint. Still not done.
.
9. Take some Tylenol or Advil for the major headache induced by other trades damaging the finished work on “accident”
.
10. Wait until the end of the project to kick everyone out, then even more touch ups. Hopefully the last time.
.
10. Wall Panel Perfection 💋👌
.
11. Client’s kids draws it on it with crayon 🖍 😵.
.
*All steps are based on true events.

Sometimes your own enemy is yourself. This pool is definitely one of the most complicated project I have done to date with 45’ doors, lazy rivers, tunnels, slide, see through window, sunken seating area, pop up tv, and cantilever patio cover.
