Boundaries - My Body In Bloom | Vocal Cover by Danny Burris/DeathLoomsOver Spent a decent chunk of yesterday recording this cover then putting the artwork and video together. I'm super proud of how it all came out! Boundaries is seriously one of my favorite bands in the world and has been pretty much since I heard them. (Which is almost 10 years ago now) The range in their music, the lyrics, the visuals are some of the best I've seen. I've always wanted to cover something of theirs and have had the idea of starting something sort of adjacent bouncing around my head for the longest. I felt inspired to finally do somethin when I saw they dropped a new single yesterday, which you should definitely check out if you haven't yet, the end of it is absolutely insane. They've been catching quite a bit of flak for the mix on it and while I do hear the difference, I think it translates just fine. Montana's Memorial Show was such a beautiful night. I was holding off on making a post in case more photos/footage popped up but this is plenty. I wanna say thank you to everyone who was involved in this. Whether you put it together, played a set, took pics, watched and threw down, donated, or just shared the flyer, thank you. Thank you for showing up for Montana in any way you could. Thank you for treating my sweet sibling Lyn with so much kindness, care, and support. As unfortunate as it is to be brought together by something like losing a loved one, it warms my heart to see. The Gamma boys and I are so grateful that we got to be a part of it and will certainly cherish the memory. I can't even begin to explain how it felt to be back on stage after so long, especially for family. I thought I'd be a wreck but I wasn't. I was nowhere near as nervous as I used to be before playing. We knew what we needed to do and we made it happen. I wish you could've been there to see it, I hope we made you proud Monty.
