Space City by @houstonskateboards won the most viral shop deck award and $1000 cash! @danmacfarlane went above and beyond promoting his shop deck, getting endorsed by many celebs including Houston’s own @slimthug himself and featuring art by the legendary @k3nadams ! Houston is known as Space City because of its space program. We started out by taking the T from our original logotype and formed our own Space City font. We focused on making the Alien to where he’s not too soft or too scary. Then we added the alien reflection to the Astronaut’s helmet.
This board definitely represents Houston and what this competition is all about thank you Dan for coming out to the @curbshow and doing your thing reppin H-Town to the fullest !!
