Recent shots from a roll of Tri-X 400 at the Barbican. A fitting film stock for the atmosphere and contrast of the space. Interested to see what changes (and what stays) with the upcoming renewal plans. #35mmFilm #KodakTriX #BarbicanCentre #MondaysAreBrutal

A selection of photos from the 1st event of the 2025 Bold Tendencies season based on the theme of DĂ©jĂ  Vu. Some skyscape shots taken from a night back in August, randomly found on the hard drive. A surprise antidote to the current greyness. #skyscape #londonsunset #peckhamrye

Some shots to share from last week’s performance of ‘BODYSUIT’ at Wapping Hydraulic Power Station in London. ‘BODYSUIT’ is a visionary live work for five dancers by artist George Rouy and internationally acclaimed choreographer Sharon Eyal. Their first collaborative creation, ‘BODYSUIT’ is a multidisciplinary live event, with exacting, rigorous and liberated practices in movement, light, sound and environment. ‘BODYSUIT’ brings together new electronic music composed by Rouy with the signature punctuating choreography of Eyal, centered on a large silver and graphite painting by Rouy—together alternating from austerity to crisis and euphoria. Performed in combination with a mirrored dance floor, dynamic lighting systems and costumes designed by British fashion house 16Arlington, ‘BODYSUIT’ creates a total stage environment that juxtaposes technical precision with rapturous, unapologetic freedom, forcing the world to challenge itself and its boundaries and giving form to the inalienable battle between our deepest feelings. CREDITS: Commissioned by @hannahbarrygallery Co-produced with @hauserwirth Creators: @SharonEyal & @georgerouy Co-creator: Gai Behar (@sharoneyaldance ) Dancers: Darren Devaney (@dirtyyoungmoney ), Juan Gil (@_juangil ), Johnny McMillan (@__mcmillan ), Clyde Emmanuel Archer (@gogo4cash ), Alice Godfrey (@alice_the_malice ) Music: Composed by @georgerouy in collaboration with Oscar Defriez (oscar_defriez) & Liam Toon (@liamtooon ) Costumes: @16Arlington & @georgerouy

Enjoyed the launch this weekend of “Life in Deep Time” by Sholto Blissett (@sholto.blissett ) produced in collaboration with Hannah Barry Gallery (@hannahbarrygallery ) which I’m pleased to have my behind-the-scenes studio shots featured in this great collaboration. Wonderful to hear Sholto again offer his eloquent context and philosophy behind the works and his process during a talk and Q&A at the launch. The beautiful publication features poetry by Alice Oswald, a newly commissioned text by Jennifer Scott (@jenartscott ) director of Dulwich Picture Gallery, and an interview between Sholto Blissett and Charlie Mills (@chardonnie ) writer and curator. Edited by Charlie Mills (@chardonnie ) Creative Direction by Daniel Fletcher (@daniel.j.fletcher ) Designed by William Lyall (@williamlyall ) Painting photography by Damian Griffiths (@damian_griffiths_ ) Studio Photography by Dan John Lloyd (@danjohnlloyd ) Available through Hannah Barry Gallery and foolscap-editions.com The exhibtion at Hannah Barry Gallery runs until 8th February.

Just over a week after NYE, it doesn’t feel like the fireworks have stopped going off. A belated resolution to follow the news less could be a healthy choice.
