Father's day falls on my born day this year.
bitch I am not here for it.
not a birthday call or a father's day call from my Daniel Charles......I am over this year.
The cousins in DC. This was on our journey back to Seattle.
Today @marbrwn reminded me what a joy it was to have stayed with George and Skylar(she is not pictured) and Angela. It was the most at peace I felt in a long time. And the most embraced we felt. I miss the ease, the communication and the family time.
And to have @iam.stephaniejohnson and @justquynn with us during our transition was epic. I miss this so much.
I will make the best out of Seattle. Yet being with family that deeply loves each other is the ish. DC we will be back.
It has been a very long time since my last post. Even writing this is difficult.
The transition back to Washington State has not been easy. I am still doing contracting work and finding it difficult to secure full-time employment. The loss of my hero, my dad, has been one of the most difficult parts of these 51 years on this planet. Losing my mom was hard and is still hard, but there is something about his death that is hitting me differently.
