The Big Alta 50k was everything I hoped for! Those last 10 miles were a grind, but racing with such great competition made it all worth it. Thanks to everyone who supported me and especially the @salomonrunning team for an unforgettable week. Next up, @canyonsenduranceruns 100k - let's do this!

We were thrilled to welcome @danisgreen to Freetrail HQ last weekend to record an in-person podcast after a nice 20 mile training run on our home trails.
The pride of Huntington, WV, Dan exploded into trail running super stardom after his course record victoryĀ at the 2025 Cocodona 250. Shortly thereafter Dan signed with Salomon ā a partnershipĀ he extended at the beginningĀ of 2026, allowing him to step back from work and focus on his athletic career.
Danās life has changed a lot in the last nine months but he remains grounded and grateful ā an attitude you canāt help but feel in the podcast.

Iāve been a runner for a long time, the younger version of me could have never imagined this day would come.
Iām officially becoming a professional trail running athlete for @salomonrunning .
It still feels totally unbelievable that I get to do the thing I love most as a job. Iām incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and over the past few months Iāve truly started to feel like part of the Salomon family.
So excited for what the next couple of years will bring ā and I canāt wait for 2026 as my first year as a Salomon professional trail athlete.

Sometimes life throws you a surprise, and this is one of them. I'm stoked to announce my partnership with @garminrunning as my official watch and GPS sponsor for 2026. I've been a die-hard Garmin fan since my first GPS watch, a Forerunner 410, which my parents got me for my birthday and probably with most of my Christmas fund ā¤ļø. I wore that watch through thick and thin - from my sophomore year in high school to my sophomore year in college. I then continued wearing Garmin through the Alps, on dates, weddings, kayaking trips, even my first ultra! I'm honored to be working with a company that's been with me every step of the way.
