This past Monday I walked out for work, saw my car door slightly open, and my heart sank. I looked in the back of my car and saw that I had been robbed.
After checking our building’s security cameras, I watched two men enter our secured building and garage, use a relay-type signal device to unlock my locked car, and steal my brand new TurboSound speakers, my lighting gear, and several personal items.
They were driving a dark gray Ford Explorer with a plate that either 9TJJ137, 9TJJ173, or 9TJJ237, and it had a Lyft emblem on the windshield. I don’t know if the SUV was theirs or stolen — but it’s an important detail.
