Made it to Caraway Speedway this weekend, marking track number 47 of my career and the third new venue for me in 2026.
Thank you to the CARS Tour for their hospitality, Short Track SCENE for the assignment and all my great clients from the weekend.
Making my way back home and I have a lot of catching up to with races from over the past month!
Stay tuned.
Question to team owners and drivers of Pro and Super Late Model teams. In 2026, what are the deciding factors at play when choosing to participate in races? Be them ASA, UARA, CARS, wherever.
Feel free to hit me up privately.
Photo Phriends: How and when do you shoot using high speed continuous shutter?
I know this will trigger the anti “spray and pray” folks, but I find my self switching modes periodically during a race depending on what I’m trying to get.
Especially when the winner comes across the line at the finish and the driver climb out in victory lane.
How do you do it?
Stopped for a pit stop on the way back home, thought I’d share a couple of thoughts from Wake County.
Awesome bullring race track. Fun place to shoot. Some challenges but overall great.
Last night’s CARS Tour race was wild. Chaos from
Front to back and everywhere in between.
I look forward to coming back down the road!

Whose your favorite pro late model driver and what did you think about the CARS Tour Pro Late Model opener at Southern National Motorsports Park?
Share your thoughts below!
Good morning. Here is a small samples of the shots I got from Southern National Motorsports Park during the CARS Tour season opener.
I still have a lot to go through… and I ran out of room on my laptop, so I’ve got to play the move things around and clear space game. Once I get that done I’ll be able to finish this set.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and support of my racing journey!
Practice at Southern National was a bit odd to start. Because of the dampness in turns three and four, and weepers around the track, CARS Tour had the pro late model teams roll around for about 30 minutes. They started slow and by the end were almost full speed… under yellow, side by side. It was a sight to see. Never seen that before.
On the road again. I decided to sleep over one more night rather than start the drive back to Pensacola after having been at the racetrack all day.
I huge rush to get home, and with the night’s rest, I feel much better.
When I do get home I’ll start editing photos from Southern National so they can be available to everyone interested in seeing or purchasing.
What an awesome day at the racetrack. Southern National Motorsports Park is a great place to go see racing. Getting to be a part of the season opener for the CARS Tour was a perfect way to spend my birthday.
Thank you to everyone that has wished me a happy birthday today, it most definitely was.
This clip is what turned out to be the final restart of the late model stock race.
So much content to sift through, but first a bite to eat and then the drive home listening to my favorite podcasts.
Jake Bollman laid down the fastest lap in CARS Tour LMSC practice at Southern National.
Lee Pulliam, Doug Barnes, Chase Burrow, Riley Gentry, Ronnie Bassett, Ryan Millington, Landon Huffman, Donavan Strauss, and Brandon Lopez make up your top ten.
Up next, qualifying at 2:10pm
Last night I overnighted at the Kenly 95 Petro and let me tell you, that place is cool! This truck stop gave me childhood vibes, reminding me of being a kid out on the road with my Dad.
I dunno if my Dad ever stopped here during his career, but if he did I’m sure he would’ve loved it.
Huge food food court with a Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Subway and a Wendy’s. Plus the ever popular Petro stable… the Iron Skillet.
The store space is massive. Think Buc’ee’s but for truckers. Anything and everything you can think of for a truck you’ll find here.
Very cool experience.
Good morning folks. Wherever you are, I hope you have a great day. Heading into race weekend!
