Here we go again with a round of stills 🇫🇷🥖🗼🥐🇪🇺🏰 Coming up to what will be @upsidedowntownparis 5 year anniversaire August this year located at 95 rue du Temple, Paris! Created together with @thestreetsociety and selected as one of the winning project submissions by @paris_maville
Once we got running the work on the ground was completed in 6 weeks. For the most part there was no concrete plan for how the all of the significant LGBQT+ landmarks - from both Paris and beyond - would be drawn on to what I think was a total of 300m2 floors, walls, ceiling. I was led by the pencil and supported by the hands of many. We painted day and night, fought off a heatwave, made friends with the locals and had a steady stream of people helping us with bringing it to life!
I still carry the rainbow pencil which marked the outline to the whole mural in my pencil case to this day, and continue to receive almost weekly updates from people who walk by the mural and post pics! Keep 'em coming; wonderful to see how it's cementing itself into Rue du Temple in a spot where, when we started work, there were no galleries nearby! (today it's practically an art district in itself!)

Colouring Book (for ages 1-127) release at Wild Horses
We are excited to invite you to the release celebration for Colours of Copenhagen at Wild Horses.
After working on the book since late last summer together with the wonderful publishing house Bogoo Books based in Aarhus, we made our deadlines and can proudly present to the city that I love the finished product! Some 75 different drawings from around Copenhagen drawn by hand and all set for colouring, drawing on and imagining upon!
There will be books available for purchase, you’ll be able to check out some of the original drawings and we’ll also hold a lil’ competition with the chance to win a copy!
Wild Horses will host the event in their beautiful space in Copenhagen, along with a bar and snacks available for purchase by Wild Horses - also the home of my studio!
Looking forward to see everyone to join us and the team who worked so hard to make this book a reality! Exciting!

Bogen er blevet til over det sidste års tid i samarbejde med det skønne aarhusianske forlag Bogoo, og nu er den endelig færdig! Den rummer 75 håndtegnede motiver fra København - klar til at blive farvelagt, tegnet videre på og gå på opdagelse i.
Til receptionen vil det være muligt at købe bogen, se et udvalg af originaltegningerne og deltage i en lille konkurrence, hvor man kan vinde et eksemplar.
Wild Horses, som også huser mit studie, åbner dørene til deres flotte lokaler i Sydhavn, hvor der også vil være mulighed for at købe snacks og drikkevarer.
Jeg glæder mig meget til at fejre bogen sammen med alle jer, der har lyst til at kigge forbi - og sammen med dem, der har været med til at gøre den til virkelighed.

Getting closer to the release date of my new colouring book Colours of Copenhagen OUT 29 MAY together with @forlagetbogoo@kreaklubben.dk 📚
The process has been gorgeous! Started with talk on what could be after Ulrik, publisher for Bogoo, spotted one of my drawings at his dentist 😲
Together with the editor, Rebekka, we cooked up list after list of buildings, along with different ideas to engage colourers including the opportunity to include some creative flashes of writing to compliment the drawings.
Perhaps the biggest challenge wasn’t the drawings or the creative aspect but the digitisation of good old fashioned drawings. Handled with patience, agility and grace 😀 by Jonas we made it all come together we all sorts of scans.

Delighted to be a part of the all-new-Horses 🐴 and a banger of an opening group show! This was a beautiful come back show that included so many artists from all over the shop assembled by our resident curator and fallery creator! @sigursosa ☀️☀️☀️
I’ve been working up the painting for a good number of years; finding the time to engage with it in a studio that is often operating between projects and drawings. The wall is now in constant flux, with new paintings running through weekly as I work towards what will be a solo show later this year also @wildhorsesgallery where I will have arrived at a solid collection of paintings (and drawings!).
Always down for a good studio visit to talk painting!

i have several means of pulling images from out of my body and mind
colour and painting is another game, apart from my drawing practice
In this latest series, however, I’ve been making every effort to refer to sketchbook drawing more strictly. Gives me something to anchor composition, content and form.
Then comes the dance either colour. While nothing is ever really ‘wasted’ - around 10%-15% of the material/paintings that pass through this wall space make it to completed works.
