You’re probably wondering how I got here. Me too, honestly.
Thanks to Mark Rober’s team, I got to work with Sesame Street and Netflix to direct socials with Elmo and Cookie Monster (Merry Giftmas streaming now!)
Thanks to Patreon, I got to direct and act in an ad campaign with comedian Stavros Halkias that, if you look at the final slide, a piece of it is playing sideways in Times Square, which is just how I like it.
And thanks to YouTube, I’ve found a home to put all of my crazy ideas for the past (nearly) 19 years. It is very likely that because of YouTube, and only YouTube, you are reading this right now.
I don’t even know what to say to people when they ask me what I do anymore. Sometimes life pushes you in unexpected directions. But the key to getting somewhere interesting, I think, is in pushing through the discomfort, trusting yourself, showing up in the right places, and saying yes.
Here’s to more yes :)
Digital Spaghetti is going to the movies!
We’re trying something new for an upcoming livestream … a film club hosted by @danielthrasher !
🗓 When: Sunday, May 17 @ 5 pm PT | 8 pm ET
📍 Where: The free Digital Spaghetti Patreon
We’ll be discussing Kung Pow: Enter The Fist. It’s a campy, kung-fu action film from 2002. And according to Daniel’s recent video ... it is scientifically the funniest movie of all time.
🍿Watch the film ahead of time, bring your popcorn & questions, and we’ll see you there!
