“Come From Away” closed today and it was hands down the hardest and most rewarding experience of my career to date. I feel so incredibly honored to have directed this beautiful show for our community. Thank you to everyone who came to support the show and a huge thank you to the cast and crew for saying “yes”. MY MAN TURNED 30 TODAY! There aren’t enough words to describe my adoration (bordering on obsession) for this incredible human. He’s truly never met a stranger and sees the best in every person and every situation. To know him is to love him. Payton is the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful and patient person I’ve ever known and I’m beyond grateful to love and be loved by him. Every second I get to be by his side is a gift. Today we close Waitress. The little show that could. AND DID. So proud to have been apart of this special show. Ogie was a dream role and I’ve had the most fun I’ve ever had on stage playing him. I will miss it more than I can express. But most of all, I’ll miss these people. My lil village of idiots. Thank you all for being my soft place to land. - “May we all be so lucky” 🥧❤️
