We were flying… and then everything got flipped.😬 Take a look at these epic before and afters. Fat loss down. Strength up. Body confidence building. We were absolutely cruising. But that’s not the full story. Because to get to this point? I’d say only about 10% of people actually make it here. Not because they can’t… But because they don’t know how to handle it when things stop going to plan. And that’s exactly what happened here. Just before this, Jen was in a really good place. Training consistently. Getting stronger. Starting to feel more like themselves again. You could see the shift not just physically, but mentally too. Then out of nowhere… shoulder nerve issue. And it threw everything. Upper body training had to be pulled right back. Progress suddenly didn’t look how we expected. And that doubt crept in fast. Jen started questioning it. Wondering if it was even worth continuing if things couldn’t be done properly. That moment right there? That’s where most people stop. But we didn’t. We had a proper conversation and reset the focus. We looked at what we could do, not what we couldn’t. We kept training. Shifted the focus. Dialled in the nutrition properly for the first time. And that’s where things really started to click. We’re still building the shoulder back into things now, but the difference is… we stayed in it. We adapted. We kept moving. We didn’t let one setback define the outcome. And now look. Leaner. Stronger. More confident. 🌈 Feeling better, moving better, and actually proud of the process. That’s the real transformation. Not perfect conditions. Not a straight line. Just showing up, adjusting, and refusing to quit when it gets hard. That really got me rattled šŸ Here we go….. I want to talk a little bit more about what St🌈ong Fitness Coaching actually stands for. This was never built around ā€œjust weight lossā€. We stand for collaboration because nobody should rebuild alone. Expression because you should be fully YOU without feeling boxed in 🌈 Individuality because I coach real people, performers, creatives, LGBTQ+ humans and people rebuilding themselves from rock bottom sometimes. Strength because strength is physical AND mental. Mindset because if your head isn’t in the right place, none of this lasts. And positivity because the world is already negative enough as it is. Yeah, weight loss can absolutely be part of the journey. But it’s never JUST about that. And real talk… you have to be thick skinned to do anything online. Not a week goes by where I don’t get a negative comment or someone giving an opinion from THEIR perspective instead of a coaching one. Most of the time? I take it on the chin. But this one made me want to stand up for what Strong Coaching actually stands for… and fight your corner too šŸ’ŖšŸŒˆ So don’t let anyone reduce your journey down to ā€œjust fat lossā€. Not here. Week 1 check in šŸŗšŸ“‰ If I didn’t have the proof, you genuinely wouldn’t believe your eyes. Walking the walk as a coach now. Real talk… I’ve stopped fucking about with the all or nothing mindset. No more savage cuts for photoshoots. No more ā€œon trackā€ Monday to Friday then eating like a raccoon at the weekend šŸ˜… Just building a lifestyle I can actually live year round. After Italy and approximately 700 tubs of unreal ice cream šŸ¦šŸ˜‚ I decided to pull things back in a bit and add some proper structure again. Tracking my food. Hitting my protein. Training hard. Getting my cardio in. Keeping my steps up. Nothing extreme. And honestly… it’s mad what happens when you actually become aware of what you’re eating again. In just one week I’ve dropped just under 3kg and close to 2% body fat. Now calm down before you all start licking rice cakes… I know that rate won’t continue 🤣 But it just shows how much extra weight and body fat I was holding onto simply because I had no structure or real goal in place. That’s the lesson here really. Most people don’t need some savage plan. They need structureāœ”ļø Awareness.āœ”ļø Acountabilityāœ”ļø And an actual goal to work towards.āœ”ļø Otherwise you’re just floating around like a butterfly and not stinging like a bee šŸšŸ„Š And the best part? I’m actually enjoying the process of fitness training again and feeling more comfortable in body AND mind.🧠 Although I’m busy in business and training myself. Still gotta make time for the fam. Tracking your food doesn’t have to mean obsessing over calories šŸ‘€šŸŽ Real talk now… I think one of the biggest problems in the fitness industry is that people instantly associate food tracking with dieting, restriction, or punishment. And for some people, understandably, that can feel quite overwhelming because of past experiences or the pressure social media puts on what we ā€œshouldā€ look like. But this is the shift I want more people to understand šŸ‘‡ Tracking your nutrition isn’t about eating less. It’s about understanding how to fuel your body properly šŸ’ŖšŸŒˆ Because whether your goal is fat loss, building muscle, improving performance, climbing mountains, smashing workouts, or simply feeling healthier and more confident… Your body needs nutrients to perform at its best. Carbs give you energy to train and move properly. Protein helps your body recover and grow. Healthy fats support overall health and hormone function. It’s not about becoming obsessed with numbers. Being a trans woman I’ve always felt at odds with it but as I’m aging I’m realizing that It actually does something other than LOOK a certain way. Just finished Box Fit and real talk now… I’m getting my shit together again šŸ‘ŠšŸ”„ Dialling back in. Pushing harder. Showing up for myself properly. And honestly? This is where most people go wrong. They think results come from doing MORE. More workouts. More cardio. More ā€œfat burnersā€. More random effort. But the truth? Most people simply don’t work hard enough when it matters. I was guilty of this too. Going through the motions. Telling myself I was ā€œtryingā€ā€¦ without really stepping into that red zone mentally and physically. Now? Different mindset. Every session has intent. Every rep means something. Every workout is building towards something bigger. Because I’ve got a goal. 28th. Group shoot šŸ“øšŸ”„ And as a coach, I want to show up in the best shape I possibly can. Not perfect. Not pretending. But proud of the effort I put in. That’s the difference. A goal gives direction. Without one, most people drift. That’s why so many stay stuck in the same cycle: Start Monday. Confessions of an online coach šŸ“™āœļø I took my foot off the gas. And no… your eyes are not deceiving you. These before & after photos are in the correct order šŸ‘€ This is me being completely honest. Since my photo shoot before Christmas… I’ve gained around 8kg. Body fat climbed from 11% to 20%. Cardio dropped off. Steps dropped off. Diet’s been shite. And real talk now… This is what happens when you stop chasing the next goal. I should’ve used my photo shoot shape as a platform to push harder. Set the next goal. Raise the bar higher. Instead? I got comfortable. And I don’t want this to happen to YOU. Because I don’t let this happen to my clients. As a coach, I believe we should lead from the front šŸ‘Š So this changes NOW. Non negotiables šŸ‘‡ šŸ”„ 10k daily steps šŸ”„ 4 strength sessions weekly šŸ”„ Cardio locked back in šŸ”„ Structure fully dialled in šŸ”„ Consistency šŸ”„ Forward motion only Blood. Sweat. Tears. Here we come 😤 And honestly? It feels bloody GOOD to lock back in and become the best version of myself again.
