I was honored to be a speaker at an Apple event in Cupertino last week. The Head of Marketing for video had seen my superhero film, The Rise of SuperMouth, and could not believe what I was able to achieve using their program. He introduced me to the team who built the program and invited me to speak at the annual Final Cut Pro Creative Summit. It was a wonderful event with tons of smart creative people and several other amazing speakers.
From attending the exclusive keynote at Apple Park (the mothership) to presenting my process to the entire Apple Video Development Team and other editors from around the world, it was a fantastic experience. I was told that no one on the planet is doing what I am doing with Apple Motion. I even began my presentation showing parts of my old childhood films shot and edited on VHS which many of you were a part of! Overall it was a surreal experience hanging with the creators of programs that have been so influential in my career. It seems that this is just the beginning of my relationship with Apple and I’m excited for the future. I was also urged by many to start my own YouTube Channel, so keep an eye out for my new channel coming soon. #fcpcreativesummit #applemotion
