Hear the conversation between @foofighters and myself on Monday nights episode of The Rock Show. We discuss their new single ‘Your Favorite Toy’ and the recording of the forthcoming album of the same name. Good times.
Tune in Monday night from 11pm on BBC Radio 1.
Cheers @snappersass for the pics.
Overjoyed that the first shows for our new project @recluse_band will be supporting @aperfectcircle for two nights at Brixton Academy alongside @jehnnybeth
An auspicious beginning…

Myself and @sorenbryce have a new project called Reclus.É (@recluse_band ) that’s kind of a big mix of things we like. (Fugazi, The Cure, Circle Jerks, Bad Brains, Stone Roses etc.)
The album is written, we’ll finish recording it very soon and we have shows booked. The first of those to be announced is @outbreakfest where Soren will be pulling double duty, as her band @tummyachemusic are also playing the same day…
I’m very stoked on these songs and the album as a whole and glad some friends will be helping us play it live…

A good night in Hackney. Loads of mates, loads of great bands. Pretty special tbf.
Only got pictures of @dynamitehardcore , @highvis and @coldworldhardcore , but Canonaball was also rad, unfortunately missed Despize… Cheers to Martine for sorting us out.
2025 has been a weird one. The world at times feels like we are teetering on the brink of the abyss and that chaos reigns. Amongst it all there have been some good times, floods of creativity and many wonderful friendships. All of which has been tempered with some tremendous losses.
I’ve been looking back through a year of photos and there are so many pics from shows and festivals, photos of friends, loved ones and places visited. Then I found all these ones here.
They’re from a party @dannywimmer and I hosted at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham, the night before the final Sabbath and Ozzy gig at Villa Park…
It was a monumental night, a ton of friends got together and celebrated the legacy of Ozzy and Sabbath and tried to steady a few nerves because of what was to come the following day. So many of the artists that were playing Back To The Beginning came to hang out and celebrate together after days of rehearsals. It was cool to do and looking back through these has made me realise how special it really was. So a huge thank you to Danny for asking me to be a part of it and a massive shout out to his team for dealing with the multiple headaches that orchestrating something like this caused, Man Of The Match goes to @themattypat
It was an incredible night that lead into a day that will go down in the history of rock music forever…
