Last week at the beautiful @barcelohotelsresorts our WPIC onsite wedding coordinator certification was in full swing with the incredible wedding department teams who work tirelessly to create unforgettable celebrations for couples from around the world. Between training sessions, site tours, wedding talk, endless laughs, and way too much good food, our textbook somehow became the unofficial travel influencer of the week. One minute it was poolside, the next it was oceanfront, then casually posing in luxury suites like it paid for the stay itself. Honestly, by the end of the week we were all asking: “Is this a certification trip… or the WPIC textbook’s destination content campaign?” 😂 A huge thank you to the amazing Barceló wedding teams for your hospitality, professionalism, energy, and passion for weddings. So excited that our Rhythm and Romance Creative Editorial is featured on the cover, and inside the Romance Guide of Today’s Bride! This editorial had it all! We had the live Motown band , Blu Soul, singing the couple down the aisle and serenading everyone on the dance floor, to keep with the Motown theme, the groomsmen had Music note lapel brooches instead of boutonnières, and the ladies had wrist corsages instead of bouquets. The bridesmaids wore fitted shimmery gold, and everyone sipped on signature drinks resting on vinyl record coasters, called the “My Girl Martini” and the “Ain’t no Mountain Highball”. Gorgeous purple flowers were everywhere, cascades along the floor, dripping from tables, and dangling from arches. The decor was jaw-dropping.
