We said goodbye to my dear, sweet grandmother a few days ago. She built our family. She pulled us close. She had warmth and joy for everyone she met and the outpouring of love we've been met with this week has been humbling and inspiring. A sincere thank you to everyone who came by or sent love from afar. And the biggest thank you to my mom and aunts for how they devoted themselves to her care and comfort these last few years. Thank you does not quite cover it. Watching you (and my dad and uncles) provide for and love and care for her has been a master class on what it means to be a daughter/mother/sister/family. A post seems quite silly, but I wanted to express my gratitude to you all.
