It’s been a while so I thought a re-introduction was needed. Some of you have been here since the early days, others of you are new. Either way, thanks for being here 🫶🏼✨ (and yes, someone is making the most of their Canva pro subscription) 🙋🏽‍♀️

Two different titles, both very credible and are needed in order for brand visibility online - do you agree?

• People aren’t thinking about you as much as you think they are. (Almost) everyone is the main character of their own anxiety spiral. You are simply a supporting role in someone else’s story, act accordingly and stop overthinking. • The people who peaked socially before 25 are the most exhausting people in the room by 35. It doesn’t matter who is/was most popular and it never has. Life gets dramatically better when you stop trying to impress anyone but yourself - make that the goal over everything. • Busy is not the same as productive and successful is not the same as happy, read it again!!! 🥲 • The version of yourself you keep wanting to become is not just going to show up like a train at a station. If you’re waiting for things to click into place without putting in the work then you’re gonna be disappointed when you’re 70 and realise it still hasn’t happened. The people who have the things you want didn’t wait until they felt ready. They just started as soon as they could and kept going past the point where most people quit. Anything else you wanna add? Let me know in the comments ✨

I’ve recently noticed more and more that there’s some sort of desire for people to overshare online in the hope that it will attract a larger audience and therefore equate to success in some way, and I’m here to squash that theory. If anything, the more forced you are, the less connected people will be to you. You don’t have to overshare every little detail of your life, nor project some sort of ‘perfect and super successful’ persona to get people to relate to you. It’s ok to share the vulnerabilities and mess of life, whilst protecting your privacy and mindset at the same time.

This week we have @jordanbanjo in the studio sharing his lists on wife Naomi, and so much more. Plus we give him the ultimate surprise that he wasn’t expecting at all! 🙌🏼 Comment ‘❤️’ to receive a DM with links to listen to the new episode or search ‘Love vs The List’ wherever you get your podcasts.

I think anyone who’s self employed would agree that being freelance can look so different everyday. This is an example of a day when Mia’s at nursery, but on the days she’s not, I’m cramming everything into nap times or tag teaming with Sonny if he’s at home. There’s a popular theory online at the moment that says ‘when you look good you feel good, therefore you’re more productive’ and whilst I partly agree with that, as someone who is time poor, taking time to do hair and makeup is counterproductive to me and the things I need to get done in a short time frame. On days when I’m shooting content il spend time getting ready but on most other days, I’ve got my hair up and zero makeup on 🥲 If you want to see/know more about this side of my life let me know. I hope this is also a reminder that sometimes, getting it done is better than getting it perfect 🫶🏼
