It's 2024, and my music commissions are open! Hit me up if any of these services interest you! NOTE: The cheapest platform for my commissions is currently Fiverr. ANNOUNCEMENT! So I was a bit unhinged in November and wrote, recorded, and produced 4 songs which I'm releasing as an EP! My second EP of the year. 😯 I'm so proud of these songs and can't wait to share them with you. New Year's Eve the EP will be available on all streaming platforms on, you guessed it, December 31! See you then! πŸŽ‰

I don't even know how to begin talking about the last two years. I met some of the kindest, most generous, most talented people and artists who I get to call my peers and NYU family. I learned so much about music as a self-taught composer. I discovered that I'm a lyricist (and opera librettist!) in my own right. I was surrounded by and introduced to some of the top talents in the industry. I saw my work performed at City Center, Green Room 42, and the Paulson Center. On Monday, I'll add the Cutting Room to that list, and on Thursday it'll be the NY Transit Museum! I've entered many collaborations that are each so different but also incredibly exciting - a TV pilot, a feature film, a TYA show, an opera (or two), and of course my thesis musical (more on that later). I'm facing a lot of uncertainty coming out of this program, but I'd also be remiss not to celebrate this moment. I've completed an MFA program. I attended commencement at Yankee Stadium. I walked across the stage at Radio City Music Hall. I learned how to live in NYC with only a part-time job, where to get the best $1.50 pizza, and how to get unlimited beverages at Panera Bread - and I (almost) never take the wrong train and accidentally wind up in the Bronx or Brooklyn anymore. I'm grieving a little bit, and I went through my fair share of dark moments, but I'm also focusing on how grateful I am to everyone who, somehow, miraculously, made the past two years the best years of my life. Thank you to Cycle 35 and the faculty at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU. πŸ’œ (sorry @ninaosso and @here_is_ben this was my only photo in front of radio city 😭)

I'm not good at photo dumps because I'm bad at documenting things and also at appearing in group photos, but I got to spend all of 2025 with these losers and I love them very much. In 2025, I also: - Wrote 50 songs (exactly!) - Wrote act 1 of a musical (american saint whoo) - Wrote and edited a novel (weird magical realism political ant book my beloved) I made new friends and became better friends with people I like a whole lot, I got to spend a whole year making theatre and music full time, saw ~17 Broadway/Broadway adjacent shows, and read 35 books. And of course got to continue the dream that is living in NYC. Somehow, there's only 1 semester left of my MFA. But I have act 2 of a musical to write, so bring it on.

Today I did what I decided is my yearly autumn walk through Central Park, and what a beautiful day to do it. I tried to hit the places I didn't last time, including the Shakespeare garden, the obelisk, and the Bethesda Fountain! (Idk how I'd never been to the fountain, very bad theatre gay of me) And I ended with lemonade and my FAVE dollar pizza place πŸπŸžοΈπŸ—½

First NY race! I almost never run with a time goal in mind, but at the last second I decided to attempt 10 km in under 1 hour, and success!!! 59 minutes is now officially my new personal record. And then I died. Good night. As always sharing my musical theatre running playlist I have curated over many years and includes some weird obscure gems: /playlist/2LUyLoNN4427jpGaYqEA2e?si=JbyF0KxLTR6_PKovSDxrpw&pi=QPUZ3DXDTiaEy
