When I originally opened Wildflower I knew I wanted it to be a safe place to make people feel calm, seen and heard.
A place where you could think about your hair goals in a way that was different to places you had been to before. With longevity in mind, that would make an impact and change the way your hair works for you.
@wildflower.dublin has had its doors opened for 8 whole years now. And when they say that business is like personal development on crack, they are right. It has almost broke me on numerous occasions and Now that I get to focus solely on the creative aspect, I really get to understand the depths of the meaning of a wildflower. And how we can bring this to more humans.
Over the last 8 years we have had a lot of learnings and I realised that through seeing all walks of life we had a responsibility to look in to how we can support people deeper than just looking after their hair on the outside. This is where ‘The Wildflower way’ has been born.
Through techniques of colouring and styling that helps to aid towards longevity, seeking out products and colour that is less toxic, deep diving in to trichology, stress management tools, nutrition and hormones we have found ourselves with an incredible community of specialists that can aid towards getting you to your hair goals.
So I’ve decided to start to share this process here. The conversation is hair. The goals are to heal from the inside out so that your hair can represent you on the inside. And this concept and new version of Wildflower is something I am so proud of, it’s thinking deeper, With team and client consultation we can spread awareness of how our hair encompasses a lot more than we acknowledge already.

It is not wasted on me that I am one of the lucky ones. To get to witness two generations of motherhood before my own journey. It is the greatest adventure of my life. But witnessing the love I have for my mother and hers for my kids and the love I have for my Nana and hers for her kids, grand kids and great grandkids. We are all doing the best we can 🫶🏼
It is a privilege and honour to have love like theirs in our lives on the daily.

A behind the scenes video of @dicedanddished hairstyle for her wedding day. The most magical wedding in Ischia, that made me fully want to move to Italy and become resident hairstylist there. They have just been through a gruelling twelve week programme to bring them up to the level of our artists in Wildflower. And they exceeded all expectations. They proved how committed and strong they were to Lee going on the days they wanted to give up. Showcased 8 models in front of all of their friends and family and co workers and the work was amazing.
Thank you for putting in the hard work to get here girls! We are grateful to watch you grow and be a part of that journey for you.
We can’t wait to see you both flourish in to Wildflower artists.

One of my favourite things when looking after my brides is being able to look after their whole hair whether it’s colour or cut or consultations about how they can mind their hair. It’s honestly such a beautiful way of getting to know eachother and making someone feel looked after.
@meganwhelann is an old old client of mine. We’re talking 15 in the bedroom snapping all her hair off because I was so slow and using cheap bleach and trying my best 🤣 yhats a bit dramatic but you know, it was touch and go, no qualification, but we’ve grown since then and Megan asked me to look after her hair in the lead up to her wedding which I am so grateful to be able to do.
The goal is buttery honey blonde. And redken nail it every time. I haven’t found a toner that even comes close to shades eq to be honest.
Toned with 10NW, 10VG and then glossed with 9aa and a cap of 9cr for our honeyyyy.
Its sooo pretty 🥰

Aloha. I’m very late in launching this properly. I’ve been having a ball on holidays in Morocco and then was so overjoyed with gratitude for how amazing our masterclass went that I then got a little run down and have been sick this week. Not ideal. But anyways, I’m here now 🫶🏼❤️

Yesterday was honestly one of my favourite days in my career yet. The room had about 60 people in it and I was beyond nervous but as soon as I began to speak to everyone in the room it felt like a flow state of joy.
I’m so grateful to everyone who bought a ticket and came along, it was the best bunch of people to have there you are all wonderful.

Honestly when I was asked to do this, I was like go on then let’s have a challenge and see how we go. I didn’t think it would get a lot of uptake and i thought we’d be filling the seats to get people to come.
It’s been a while since I’ve educated outside of @wildflower.dublin my confidence really went on the floor after going through a hard time in business from that post most of you have seen by now. (We don’t need to bring it up again 🤣)
So when @nikita_hairpro called and told me there was no tickets left I felt so grateful. It’s a new era of showcasing the Wildfower way and it’s time that we can share all of the little things we do.
Wildflower would be nothing without all of the humans that have come through our doors and worked in that little room. Memories of magic and some intense ones too.
I’m so proud that it’s 8 years giving clients a lovely experience and cannot wait to share some of that on Monday.
But for now, I’ll lie under my baby while he sleeps connected to my skin 🤣 and sit in this gratitude while I finalise all of the little moments for our day.
