Something every model should have in their portfolio! These are the most basic shots of you in your most natural state in different angles, wearing little to no makeup, natural hair (not covering your facial features) and typically wearing either black or white tight-fitting clothing that is flattering to your body type and shows off your figure. Also minimal, non-distracting jewelry if any.
These are arguably the most important thing in your portfolio and are what will show a potential client or agency what they could be working with for future projects. Think of it like your base/foundation to be built upon with makeup, outfits, products, styling and more!
These donโt have to be professionally taken, they can even be done on your smartphone! Just make sure to have good lighting, framing, a plain background and NO edits/filters.
At minimum there should be some kind of variation of these 4 basic shots with simple posing:
1) Full body
2) Headshot
3) 3/4
4) Side profile
Lastly, remember to update these every so often, especially when there are noticeable changes to your look!
