@nuvolascura_ Asia tour last month (13 shows across Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan), too many of @blindgirlss & hanging out in Osaka/Tokyo with Jill afterwards for this post! Next month marks 10 years of me joining Nuvo — I felt so lucky just to do a an Oakland + Fresno weekender between like 15 shows at BTDIY back then, I'd be beside myself if you told me we'd be here now wrapping up another incredible international tour. Thank you to everyone that hosted us and came out to the shows 🖤✌️🙂

Hey! I made these @bridgetowndiy shirts last month because the only one I have from when we were open is very faded/weird fitting — I figured I'd put some up on my archive account (@doityourself.626 ) to help pay for the screen and maybe have some walking around money for tour, but with everything going on I've decided to take some more orders to try and raise some money for legal funds ahead of this weekend. From the orders I already took last month I have just shy of $150, DM me if you'd like one!
Going to wait and see how things play out before determining exactly where the money will go (would love to hear any suggestions!) but I'm already planning to buy supplies for the Benito Flores eviction defense (One of the last remaining reclaimers of the CalTrans owned homes in El Sereno under threat of eviction, check out @reclaiminghomes posts for more info!) so if there happens to be anything left over, I'll just add it on!
Lots already being said and I'm trying to be vague for the algorithm so all I'll say is big love to everyone showing up out there and of course to anyone directly affected. Among many other things, Bridgetown taught me the power of organizing, whether it's just within your group of friends/neighborhood or in your place of work and beyond. Taking this from @blackrose_rosanegra because I don't think there's a better way to say this: We can't win a better world by waiting for the right person to be voted in – or the wrong person to be voted out.
Jill & I got married!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a lucky boy for many many reasons and all day I was reminded of all the good I have in my life: our families who worked so hard to make it all happen, our wonderful friends who have supported us from the beginning, and of course my beautiful bride to soak it all in with. Needless to say we had the best day and obvi took a lot of pictures. I'm p sure I took most of the ones I'm not in but I handed my cameras out so some of these idk who did but ty for taking them 🤍
