We won a duPont-Columbia Award for our radio reporting on a very painful year of war. It’s a huge honor in the broadcast journalism world. My speech in New York with some of the NPR Mideast team, and producer Anas Baba in Gaza.
I spoke with @andersoncooper on CNN today about my reporting from an Israeli hospital where I met Jewish Israelis, Palestinian citizens of Israel and a professor of mine from my college days who shared their excruciating stories of loss. I’ll be continuing to report on @npr about this unprecedented moment of pain for Israel and Gaza.
Thrilled to be guest hosting NPR Morning Edition and the Up First podcast this morning with the fabulous Leila Fadel! I’m joining you live from Jerusalem, wave hello 👋🏼
A scene from my recent @npr story on two women at the center of recent turmoil in the Mideast: an Israeli democracy protester and a Palestinian whose car was set on fire. Stories in bio. Reported with @gallery.zainab
