It was a very busy week, but I am back with this small recap of the last 4 years covers in USA💥 I am modeling from really long time, and I never really believed in shooting editorials. I always gave priority to commercial jobs: one more day in the showroom better than any of those. And if I really had to shoot something new, I still preferred a test with a photographer I chose myself. When I moved to NY 4 years ago, I had a strong portfolio and I had worked consistently with all the best suits clients in Italy. For example for years collections of a few major brands you could have bought in the shops around the world were fitted on my measurements. But it didn’t matter here, and in a certain sense I had to start all over again. I shot tons of sexy pictures published on online magazine to get engaging contents and what’s called “visibility” 😅 It quite worked, and it was fun. 2 years ago I decided I wanted to be more present in “real” fashion magazines (I mean, before that I had been in GQ a couple of times, but..), and I decided I wanted to be on L’Officiel for my first time. From that moment I have been featured on the print of 3 different Men’s Health, 2 Esquire, Numéro, Grazia, and 7-8 times L’Officiel Hommes.. ✌🏻 I am not a top model - at all - but when I have a goal I find the motivations to improve myself and not being lazy.. 😆 So what’s next?

New York after the blizzard ❄️ Central Park covered in snow is really romantic, I can see it — but it’s also fun. It’s a great equalizer: yesterday, so many of us were out playing, laughing, making snowmen like kids again…

Such a fun day on set with Peggy Gou 💖 Putting this project together took months of work, as often happens — from the very beginning to the magazine hitting the newsstands — with many logistical challenges to overcome. But it’s always so rewarding to see how happy everyone is, in the end, and how well this has been received. And I got to meet some amazing new people, in the process! The shooting day really felt like an orchestra playing a concert: everyone executed their role beautifully — photography, styling, the set designer building the 3 sets from scratch (omg… that was something), glam, assistants... And Peggy, with her super enthusiastic team, being so kind to everyone! Back to work in NYC, but still carrying these long holidays in Vietnam in my heart. One of the things I loved the most was the fancy New Year’s cruise in Ha Long Bay. It was simply perfect. I also did many water-related activities in Ninh Binh — locals row the boats using their feet! Mostly women, but once there was this cartoon-character guy casually stroking his long beard the whole time 😂 The 600 stone steps at Mua Cave (😮‍💨) and the 500 Arhat statues at Bai Dinh Temple also made for quite an entertaining day…
