Africa is entering a new era of strategic independence.
Our continent is no longer defined by old spheres of influence, but by partnerships built on mutual respect, shared prosperity, sovereignty, and tangible economic value.
In my engagement with RT on the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi, I reiterated Nigeria’s position under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu: we welcome constructive cooperation with all global partners, France, Russia, China, the United States, and others, provided such relationships advance development, security, industrial growth, and the welfare of our people.
Africa’s future must be shaped by Africans, driven by our aspirations, and anchored on dignity, balance, and shared progress in the global order.
At the France-Africa Summit in Nairobi, I spoke with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) on Nigeria’s strategic vision for Africa’s future under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Our discussions focused on financial reforms, Artificial Intelligence, the blue economy, agricultural transformation, and Africa’s evolving global partnerships.
I reaffirmed that Nigeria’s foreign policy remains anchored on national interest, economic diplomacy, and strategic cooperation that advances development, innovation, and prosperity for Nigerians and the African continent.
Mr. President,
As you mark 74 remarkable years on earth, I celebrate you not only as Nigeria’s leader but as a man whose personal kindness and strength I have been privileged to experience firsthand. You found me worthy to serve as your spokesperson, a responsibility I do not take lightly, and that singular act reflects a rare quality you possess.
Your resilience is extraordinary. Many see the office; I have seen the man — strong under pressure, calm in turbulence, and unwavering in the belief that Nigeria will rise. Your strength in the face of criticism and challenges continues to inspire confidence, not only within government but among millions of Nigerians who draw courage from your example. You have demonstrated that leadership demands patience, endurance, and faith in a vision greater than personal comfort.
Today, millions look at your journey as a pattern to follow, a model of perseverance, forgiveness, and strategic leadership. You have shown that true greatness lies not in perfection, but in consistency of purpose and the courage to keep moving forward despite opposition. On this special day, I celebrate your strength, your humanity, and the inspiration you continue to give to those of us honored to walk this journey with you. Happy 74th Birthday, Mr. President. May your years ahead be filled with renewed strength and even greater accomplishments for Nigeria.
Yours-in-service,
Daniel Bwala
Some people are saying, “Why go to the UK?” Look, I hope you all know that you don’t grow and develop Nigeria by sitting at home and waiting. This visit is about opening doors: more investment, more jobs, and more opportunities for our people. His Majesty, King Charles has shown practicable commitment to partner with Nigeria on areas of mutual trust
President Tinubu is making sure Nigeria is seen, heard, and respected on the world stage.
That’s how you move a country forward, not by staying quiet.
