Eröffnung der Arbeit „ABC (Always Be Communicating)“ mit Christine Sun Kim @chrisunkim und Thomas Mader @thomasmadertm in der Public Art Passage. Anhand abstrakter Animationen zeichnet „ABC (Always Be Communicating)“ auf elf Monitoren die kulturelle Entwicklung der amerikanischen Gebärdensprache nach. Begrüßung durch Daniel Bürkner @danielbuerkner und Lena von Geyso @lena__julia von Public Art München. Mit Dolmetschung in Deutsche Gebärdensprache (DGS). In Kooperation mit @gmu_muenchen und @museum.signers Bis Oktober finden in der Passage Führungen zur Arbeit mit den Museum Signers statt. Die Zusammenarbeit mit den Museum Signers ist kein Begleitprogramm, sondern Teil der Arbeit. Sieben Museum Signer führen monatlich in Deutscher Gebärdensprache (DGS) durch die Ausstellung. Sie wählen selbst aus, welchen Clip sie besprechen und was sie thematisieren: die Etymologie der jeweiligen Gebärde, den Dialog zwischen Deutscher und Amerikanischer Gebärdensprache oder ganz andere Hintergründe. Die Guides interpretieren die Clips aus ihrer eigenen Sprachperspektive. Die Führungen werden in gesprochene Sprache gedolmetscht, sodass auch Nicht-Gebärdende teilnehmen können. The baroque element is something i blame on the harpsichord. It was given away in a remote castle that houses a classical music school. A friend helped me with his car (it almost broke on the way) and we treated ourselves to a meal in the yard. The conversation came to baroque music, and i admitted to my friend i tend to really enjoy it only if it is .... slow and sad. M1 is the name of a Motorway in Lithuania, connecting Vilnius and Kaunas. Elektrenai is a small industrial town in between. I never took that exit. Whatever chances we took or did not take, they are somehow rooted in our physical environment. Doesn't this turn the physical environment into an atlas of emotions? #oscarsonlabel #danielbuerkner
