It’s hard to find light in what we all went through during the pandemic.
Yet, amidst that difficult time, one of the most beautiful things I discovered was the opportunity to begin collaborating with you @retrosuperfuture — not just a brand, but a home of friends I’ve seen grow since 2007, from a small basement into what you’ve become today.
Over these five years of collaboration, an even deeper synergy has flourished: your friends have become mine, and mine have become part of your world. Together, we’ve expanded our horizons in ways we could have never imagined.
We’ve experimented, taken risks, and brought a touch of innovation even to a market that once seemed unmovable.
It’s been a shared journey — an adventure lived side by side, bringing together friends to create something genuine and different.
This message is a small gesture of love and gratitude.
Even though our paths now part, my appreciation remains immense.
It has been a wonderful chapter — filled with friendship, mutual support, and growth.

Ciao Virgil, so many incredible memories. From the day you proudly showed me your new @off____white project yet to be released from your phone while in NY, to the unbelievable night in Paris inside a black van with dark windows together with you @kanyewest and @chicagodonc , while I was showing samples for the @retrosuperfuture / Pastelle collaboration. But most of all I will remember you for your kindness. You have been a true gentleman throughout all the process.
