The Bike Safari 2026 was special. 💞
But what makes it truly meaningful is what we created together.
Through this trip and additional donations, we raised CHF 39’210 for the Daniela Ryf Foundation — allowing us to take the next step and change even more lives.
And real change on the ground:
🍽️ Increasing daily meals from 1,000 to 1,500 children through an additional feeding program in Laikipia
🩸 Supporting 2,500 girls with reusable menstrual health kits (up from 1,500)
🏠 Ensuring ongoing support for the orphanage (electricity, school fees, housing)
🧠 Creating safe spaces for children to talk about and process their traumas
⚽ Building a sports program, giving children weekly access to movement and new skills
This is what happens when movement meets purpose.

Some days are hard to put into words.
Visiting the programs of @danielaryffoundation together with our guests and showing them firsthand where the support from their trip goes was a very special moment.
Seeing the programs on site shows what this support makes possible: a home for the orphans, kids continuing their education in high school, daily meals, and Afripads for the girls.
We also played together on the basketball court and helped prepare meals for the 1000 children who receive daily meals here.
Many of these children face challenges most of us can hardly imagine, yet their excitement, energy, joy, and drive are truly contagious. There is so much we can learn from their spirit — and their dance moves too :)
A day full of perspective, gratitude, and heart. Feeling very grateful to everyone who supports this work.

Last week we visited the programs which the @danielaryffoundation supports to review the progress, discuss the next steps, and spend time with the amazing kids and community we work with.
Between meetings there was singing, playing and a lot of joy. This is the best reminder of why these programs matter.
We also prepared the arrival of our guests for the Bike Safari, an exclusive fundraising trip where supporters visit our programs and experience the beauty of Kenya by bike.
Visiting my step-grandmother nearby made the day even more special — a quiet reminder of why I started this work. ❤️

Growing up in the slums means facing realities no child should have to carry.
Unstable homes. Violence. Insecurity. And too little space to feel safe, heard, or loved.
This is where we step in.
Through the new mental-health program with Blessed to Transform, we support safe spaces where children can talk, build self-worth, and learn how to treat themselves and others. Because how a child feels today shapes how they move through life tomorrow.
Healing doesn’t only happen through words.
It also happens through movement, play, and freedom. 🚲✨
That’s why we’re expanding the program with sport-based sessions. Our goal is to deliver 110 bikes to the feeding center, where they’ll be used to:
🔹 build confidence
🔹 create positive routines and teamwork
🔹 reduce stress and anxiety

The campaign runs until February 15, when the bikes will be shipped.

• 1’000 children in the slums receive one warm meal every day
• 1’500 girls gain access to hygiene products, so they can attend school throughout the month with dignity
• Local labor is supported. Meals are prepared and distributed by people within the community.
