KISS was a pivotal transition for me and how I experienced music. I wanted to be a drummer because of KISS. I wanted to be in a band because of KISS. I wanted to hear fans shouting out loud because of KISS. The Spaceman was always my favorite. His solo record is by far the dirtiest rock-n-roll of the four. I have played and recorded KISS songs in several of my bands throughout the years. Ace Frehley, the wise ass, take no bullshit guy from the Bronx pushing the limits of rock stardom. You knocked my 11 year old musical trajectory out of orbit Spaceman, and I can’t thank you enough. Godspeed…
