As a screenwriter do you know this sweet feeling of having finished a draft of the script that you are proud of and that you can actually share? Over the last years I have been working on my first feature film called Isa & Maria with my co-writer @jaavii_mendez . It’s been a marathon of over 7 years of crafting and developing the project with patience, love and care. Now that 2025 is coming to an end, I wanted to share some pictures from the Standard Time Talk Show Season 2, where I had the immense pleasure of being the head writer!
We successfully completed 28 chapters, filming between Vienna, Budapest, Serbia, and Poland (and I’m sure I’m forgetting a place), jumping on trains, and diving into adventures! We had the pleasure and the privilege of inviting guests from all around the world on a variety of different topics ranging from demographic panic, EU corruption, trash, mass tourism, and many more! I just want to say how thankful and proud I am for this time. For an amazing team and for making me grow as a writer!

I just love seeing the cinema packed, and the corridors filled with good vibes. I had a blast organizing this Austrian premiere of “O último azul” together with the @filmcasino and all our Cooperation Partners!
Those nights are very important to me, because for one night we have the opportunity to fully submerge ourselves into a new culture! This time we had the privilege to dive into the Brazilian one, bringing the smells, the tastes, the sounds, the art and the movie!

This is one of the first pictures I have created with Sora. I feel very conflicted by it. Whose face is this? Who’s mouth, who’s eyebrows? And at the same time she expresses something very moving for me.
She is overflowing with milk and honey but conflicted with it. She has her eyes closed, thinking.

Diesmal ist es ein brasilianischer Film namens „Das tiefste Blau“ von Gabriel Mascaro!
Diese Latin Film Lounge ist eine Österreich Premiere🎉🎉🥳 und wird am 15.9 um 20:15 im Filmcasino zu sehen sein!!

Hier einen kurzen Blick in die Geschichte:
Poetisch und in starken Bildern erzählt der brasilianische Regisseur Gabriel Mascaro („Neon Bull“) in seinem Berlinale-Jurypreis-Gewinner DAS TIEFSTE BLAU (THE BLUE TRAIL) von der 77-jährigen Tereza (großartig: Denise Weinberg), die in einer Industriestadt im Amazonasgebiet lebt. Eines Tages erhält sie die offizielle Anweisung der Regierung, in eine Seniorenkolonie in einer entlegenen Gegend zu ziehen. Hier sollen die Alten ihre letzten Jahre „genießen“, während die junge Generation sich voll und ganz auf Produktivität und Wirtschaftswachstum konzentrieren kann. Tereza weigert sich, dieses ihr aufgezwungene Schicksal zu akzeptieren. Sie bricht zu einer Reise durch das Gebiet des Amazonas und seiner Nebenflüsse auf, um sich einen letzten Wunsch zu erfüllen, bevor ihr ihre Freiheit genommen wird. Der Entschluss zu dieser Reise wird Terezas Lebensweg in eine ganz andere Richtung führen.

I’m so grateful to be part of the Great Bear Alumni ! I was at the European Film College in the year 2016/2017, it’s been nearly 10 years and I still practice things in my filmmaking process that I learned there. Now I have the chance to help to build bridges, reunions and to connect with Filmmakers from different parts of the world. I truly believe that creating community and connection is the way to go when creating meaningful Films. So looking forward to our next reunion in June!
